SAN CIPRIANO: ONE OF THE BEST PLACES TO VISIT IN THE VALLE DEL CAUCA

"La tarzanera": Local resident jumping into river.
This small village in Córdoba, (Córdoba is a small town near Buenaventura), has proved a pleasant surprise. Important part of its appeal because it has access to the town itself, located several kilometers from the nearest road and by necessity has devised an interesting way to connect with Cordoba, using the old railway line linking Buenaventura Cali. The ingenuity of the locals came up with the solution, the "witches", coupled motorcycles on wooden wagons arranged under four bearings that fitted perfectly on the rails from the old way to, in a spectacular tour of almost 7 kilometers, joining the two points achieve .

"las brujitas": Transportation from Cordoba to the river.
Many people travel to visit this beautiful place.

Attractions. The chances of San Cipriano are extraordinary. The natural reserve of the rivers San Cipriano and Escalerete declared as the second longest river in the world pure and crystalline in 1981. Great waterfalls, natural pools more than 15 meters deep and endless trails, make this an ideal spot for relaxation and enjoyment of nature. If you travel with little time, you can not go without tubbing, something as simple and fun as hiring a "tire" that acts as a float and throw uphill hike trails and then down across the river.

On weekends or high season, hotels, restaurants and streets get to the flag. For more rumberos lost spirits not typical of the area, the viche (liquor made from sugar cane), the tumbacatre (the word speaks for itself) or arrechón (also called the Pacific viagra). Halfway down the rail from Córdoba and San Cipriano points of the villagers sell these traditional drinks.
